My grandma was married at 14 and lived (and worked) on a farm. Life was harder then like you said, but I think it instilled a greater sense of responsibility.

This was a beautiful tribute to your mom. I can't imagine taking care of the household at age 12.Ediehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11154092288646304188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-158760821753181416.post-33422348942137438372009-10-18T10:04:36.190-03:002009-10-18T10:04:36.190-03:00I never knew that Mothers Day was celebrated on di...I never knew that Mothers Day was celebrated on different days in different areas.
Interesting that it shoudl fall on the anniversary of your Mom's death. She sounds like quite a lady, and you've written a nice tribute of her.
My Mom has been gone for 6 years now, and my sister and I were just talking about how me miss her. Not in the same way we did when she first passed, but more in the way that we want to be able to share things with her.
Hope you enjoy your day.Marihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06289456727508305342noreply@blogger.com
