I wondered early on if I would just go flat, but after months of feeling wonky in my clothes, I welcomed fake boobs. I did sleeveless tees under my long sleeved shirts all winter while I healed. I felt better with the added layer and it helped even out what I just called the weirdness...sticking out in the middle instead of on both sides. I have small fake girls that aren't heavy and I have been very pleased with them, if you chose to go that route after you heal. Sending prayers that you heal and are able to have your surgery on time. The plastic surgeon did my closure in a different way so that it sort of created a bit of a ledge for my bra to rest under. It helps keep it from riding up. I was hesitant about bringing another dr on board but I'm glad i did. Can you take probiotics for your tummy? It might help it heal some. I know someone who did herceptin and it was great. I was hoping when I got cancer, that it would be her2pos because of how she did. I wanted her treatment. LOL (but it wasn't so that was that). Wishing you a speedy recovery so this can be behind you.
