I walked this morning

Not going to even tell you how long it's been since that happened. Due to a problematic planters wart on one foot, walking had to be kept to a minimum while I dealt with it. Today I finally felt like I could chance it so walked first thing. Beautiful morning!

Now I'm waiting for the chocolate scones to finish baking before I make myself a cup of coffee. Quiet morning but then this afternoon we're going into Cordoba to show Tina around and visit the street art fair that happens every weekend.

Enjoyed a great first day of the new decade by taking a drive around the lake. It was rather HOT so we didn't dawdle much at our stops, preferring the little bit of air conditioning afforded by the Fiat. I'm afraid we are rather wimpy. The views were stunning but we'd snap our photos and run back to the coolness of the car.

A stop for pink grapefruit and green apple sherbert on the way home was like the cherry on top, a perfect way to end our little excursion.

So how is your first weekend of the new year/decade going?

Sounds lovely! I'm cold here, but the sun is shining. I have to get groceries and then do some cooking and cleaning, but first thought I would check on a few of my favorite bloggers.

You walked and I exercised again. Have a nagging lower back ache since Christmas.
Talked to Mother last night. I think Toni is no replacement for Tina ;)
Glad you are enjoying the sights together!

I got my walk in today too. Inside on the treadmill. It was 10 degrees this morning....burrrrr! I'm headed out to our monthly CMA meeting. It will be good to see everyone. -- I so know your pain. I had a planters wart on the ball of my foot. A DR had to remove it. ugh. Hope you get it taken care of so you can enjoy your beautiful area. Blessings, SusanD

Chocolate scones, pink grapefruit and apple green sherbet! Are you trying to starve me here?

my son had a planters wart on the bottom of his big toe...so painful. Our doctor had the pharmacy compound something that had formaldehyde in it. We put it on the wart every day. His toe looked like it was being pickled, but finally the wart just fell off!!!! he's never had one since.

hey, would you send me your email, I can't find it. thx!!
